(satisfies NM Couns/Therapy Practice Board requirements for licensure)

Day 2 - Advanced Play Therapy (must have prior basic play therapy training) - 6 hrs. CEU's

July 18-19, 2008- Introduction to Play Therapy

Play Therapy Supervison/Consultation Groups
(prerequisite - Intro. to Play Therapy 2-day training with Dr. Brennan)

Level I - most suitable for those who've taken 2 day Intro. to Play Therapy in past year or have been using play therapy in your practice with children for at least one year

Level II - most suitable for those with one or more years play therapy practice experience

Discount is available for those who are currently in supervision or who have taken the most recent Intro. to Play Therapy training (Jan. 2007) with Dr. Carol Brennan.

Play Therapy Training and Mentorship Program
A program of individual study and training for anyone wishing to “immerse” him/herself in the theory and practice of play therapy. Face to face training, one-on-one and/or small group, under the direction of Carol Brennan Ph.D., will be combined with individual study and mentoring, ongoing assessment of progress, and supervision.

This training program can extend from one week to several months and designed to be especially suitable for the long distance or international “student.”

Individual fees will be based on individual goals and needs. If interested, please contact Dr. Brennan for an initial consultation.
  

LOCATION: Most trainings and programs are held at 4686 Corrales Rd., Corrales, NM, unless otherwise indicated. Corrales is a quaint village just ten minutes north of Albuquerque near the Rio Grande river and bosque. There are several fine restaurants to choose from, all within a convenient distance from the training site.

SCHEDULE: Most trainings will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Refreshments will be provided and there will be a one hour lunch break (on your own).

CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS: As a Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor (APT and IBECPT) Dr. Brennan is an approved provider of training hours that can be counted toward play therapy credentialing and for continuing education requirements.

FEES: Trainings may be selected individually or as a "series." A maximum of 10 and a minimum of 8 participants necessary for each training. Fees are non-refundable within 7 days of scheduled training. Any refunds will be subject to a $25.00 service fee. Fees are $119.00 per day of training unless otherwise indicated.
